Architect’s house

A compact residential building with an area of 60 sq.m. is located on the shore of the river, above the steep slope of the ravine. Its specific shape and layout are due to the difficult terrain of the site and the desire to preserve existing trees.

The house consists of several cubic modules of different heights connected to each other with a slight offset. This structure made it possible to create a flexible layout and a characteristic silhouette and image, with a very minimalistic finish and the absence of unnecessary details.

Large panoramic windows are positioned so that you can see only the natural environment from the house and combine it with the interior space as much as possible.

The terrace, located directly above the slope, becomes a natural extension of the interior in the summer. Additional terraces can be arranged on flat roofs, from where a beautiful view of the surroundings and sunset opens above the tops of the trees.

The construction of the house is made using frame-panel technology, using environmentally friendly Green Board panels. The facades are finished with pine planken soaked in black matte oil.
The main structure of the house on a pile foundation was assembled in just a month and a half, and the entire construction with interior decoration took six months.

Everything is very rational and thoughtful in the interior, every centimeter of the area is used. There are no corridors in the house, the hallway acts as a vestibule in winter thanks to a sliding partition. Boiler equipment is located in built-in cabinets in the kitchen. All this made it possible to create a comfortable living space on a relatively small area.
